Softward Engineer 2 (The senior position)
MAJOR ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Interact with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams to analyze and track technical issues, can solve advanced environmental or operational issues.
> Have some codes level knowledge, can work with Engineering team on troubleshooting and resolution of some simpe bugs
> Configure critical products to alter how operational events are handled by the system ( CTA Rules/Filter, Netcool Rules)
> Write technical documents
> 24x7 support with majority China daytime, but need flexibility to work on night shift for some emergency issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
> Software development experience is required
> Production Application and User Support is required
> Knowledge of SQL, Oracle database is required
> Knowledge of Web portal realted lanague (JSP, Coldfusion or Java Script) is preferred
> Knowledge of Java is preferred
> Knowledge of XML is preferred
> Working Experience of snmp proctocl(mib knowledge), Linux, Solaris administration
> Team Oriented
> Outstanding analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
> Outstanding written and oral communication skills
> Fluency in English
> Strong self-motivation
> BS degree, MS preferred
